FormScale performs all image cropping, resizing, and compression locally in your web browser, using JavaScript and the browser's built-in Canvas API. When you select a photo, it is loaded directly into your device's memory — it is never transmitted to, received by, or stored on any FormScale server.
This means we have no access to, and never see, retain, or process, the contents of any photo you compress with this tool — including passport photos, visa photos, or any other identity document image.
